Hurk- I never liked Hurk in 3 or 4, but after playing 5 I gained a new respect for him and actually began to enjoy playing his FC3 missions.I am Ajay Ghale, the son of the legendary revolutionary Mohan Ghale, and I’m on the receiving end of a lecture about morality. Takkar- I loved being the badass Stone Age warrior, but what I loved the most was the beast taming element, which felt realistic and organic in FCP, it seems a bit more “okay here’s some pets” in FC5, which I don’t hate, I just don’t think works as well. Also the fact that he wrote the FC3 in game guidebook always gives me a chuckle WILLIS! How have I not seen him mentioned here?! CIA spy, in every FC Game since 3, all around badass. By the end, you can see how far his mental state has degraded and he’s basically a jungle warrior. I love how fucked up Jason gets killing his first pirate with the machete in the tutorial, clearly not used to death. Jason Brody - all time favourite video game protagonist of all time. An ‘evil’ despot who runs his drug nation brutally, but it turns out he’s actually your step father and an all round funny dude But Min made up for it slightly by being a great villain. I’ve got to say out of 2, 3, 4, Primal, and 5 4 was my least favourite by far. Pagan - the only FC4 character on my list. However he was a good businessman and quite a likeable character imo.

Hoyt Volker - absolute unhinged psychopath who has no qualms blowing up a boat full of captives to Flight of the Valkyries, or burning a man alive until your skin crackles like chicken. I did this because more people have played from Far Cry 3,4, and 5, but if you must, include them in honorable mentions.)
(Note: I can already see comments of others saying why didn't I include Far Cry 1, 2, Blood Dragon, Primal. Pagan Min - He had a lot of expectations to live up to following Vaas. In a way, she is a perfect example what religion, fundamentalism, and drug addiction can negatively do to a person.ġ: Vaas - There's a reason why he's so popular: because you can't find a more charismatic or psychopathic character in this series. She's manipulative and evil yet tragic and naive. It might not be realistic, but he made a great playable character and the "Ying to Vaas' Yang".ģ: Sabal/Amita - Depending on who you support, each in are invested in their own delusions of grandeur that always leave you to regret siding with them in the end.Ģ: Faith Seed - I know there are those saying how can choose her over Joseph, Jacob, or John, but to me, Faith is the most convoluted of the Seeds. Here's my personal (and probably UNPOPULAR) opinion:ĥ: Hurk - Love him or hate him, he has proven to fit perfectly in any Far Cry setting and situation because he's just.HIM.Ĥ: Jason Brody - I love his underdog, fish-out-of-water journey against the pirates and smugglers.
